hey guys...just wondering, will the study design still be the same in 2010?? im asking cos i was wondering whether or not to keep my psych book for my sister... thanks!! :)
-
The study design is subject to change at the end of the year, however they may keep textbooks the same if the content doesn't change. If you keep it, it would probably be a good secondary reference for her anyway!
-
:) thanks for your help. i might just sell it to help pay for the new ones she will need.
-
yeh
next year is the last study design, in 2010 its a new course. and will be new textbooks. a lot of the content will be changed and some stuff added in
-
my psych teacher was talking about it, and apparently they're getting rid of visual perception and sleep (i think), perhaps merging it with the brain and nervous system. she also mentioned mental health being added as an area of study - it sounded really interesting
-
yeh there being merged. and bringing in some stuff from the unit 1 and 2 course as well
-
Supposedly there's gonna be more stress on research designs, hahaahha on them.

Just in case anyone wanted to know, "The accreditation period for Psychology Units 3 and 4 has been extended until 31 December 2010."
The decision made by VCAA...
