I remember reading somewhere that some guy (I'm sure he was important in some way) thought that the most beautifull word(s) in the english language was......

They did a survey of people who didn't natively speak English asking them what the nicest English word was and the survey indicated 'mother'. That's really interesting given that very few people call their mother 'mother', they say 'mum' which sounds closer.
