I've heard that the University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT University are all well-known for their Engineering courses. I'm not sure which area of Engineering I'd like to pursue yet, but I'm thinking along the lines of Electrical/Mechatronics or maybe even Biomedical Engineering. So which University would you say is the best for Engineering and why?
Also, I've heard that many students have found benefit in undertaking Commerce degrees as well as their Engineering degree, as it further qualifies them for senior positions in the future. Some feel that Science degrees are also useful. How do you feel about this?
