Ok so I'm tossing up between Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (with specialisation) at Charles Sturt Uni and bachelor of medical radiation science (honours) either specialising in diagnostic radiography or radiation therapy at Newcastle.
Pro for Newcastle
- honours degree
- I live in Newcastle
Pro for CSU
- don't have to choose a specialisation until later (which is good cuz I don't know what I want to specialise in - at newie you have to pick from the start)
- I could move to either port maquarie or Wagga Wagga
- low atar (70 vs. 91 or 78 depending on which course at Newcastle)
- I could probs go really well there coming from a selective high school with an atar estimate 94+
I don't really know much about either program so I'd appreciate any advice from anyone with experience in either course at ether Uni. Specifically
- course quality/teacher
- job prospects at the end from each specific Uni/course
- why is Wagga so much lower atar?
