Title: Pros and Cons of VCE VET Laboratory skills
Post by: emily6622 on July 22, 2019, 06:47:06 pm
Hi!

As a year 10 whose subject selection is right around the corner, I want someone to tell me what are the pros and cons of doing a VET subject (any VET will do, but laboratory skills in particular). I also have some general questions.

How difficult is it to achieve a good score?
Is the workload less, equal or more than the workload of other studies?
Was it more difficult than other studies?
What are your tips for doing well?
Did it help you getting into uni? (thinking of medicine/dentistry)
Would this be a good fit with my other studies (Methods, EngLang/mainstream (unsure), Chem, Physics and one more undecided subject)
Was it worth it in the end?

I know this was lengthy, but all help is appreciated :)
