Title: Algorithmic trading - FNCE30010
Post by: BuffInvestmentBanker on May 06, 2020, 08:27:34 pm
Yo, what's up ATARNOTES. First time poster here.

So I'm currently planning out my degree for the upcoming year rn. I came across Algorithmic trading - FNCE30010, and it claims that there's a quota of 30 students per semester and has prerequisite of investments (fnce30001), second year math unit and comp10001 or 10002. I'm curious how competitive the entry will be to enter unit as it has a tight quota of 30 and interview. So currently planning to take this unit sem 2-2021 and taking meterics 2, comp10001, comp10002 and info20003 prior. Would this be enough coding knowledge to go into this unit? What will they be judging my entry of as well like would it be my grades in coding subjects, my math knowledge, scores in finance or all of the above?

Has anyone took this unit? If so you enjoy it, How hard was it, what was the interview process like?

And lasty if anyone took fintech and is it as hard as everyone says?

Thanks yall for helping out a lost 2nd yr.

Hi, I am also a student who is looking into study this subject, and I came across your post from Google Search.

How do you feel about this subject? Do you like it?

I really appreciate your review on FinTech, and it made me really want to do that subject too! So I really hope you can give some review on this subject as well.

Thank you!
