Title: Can someone tell me how university works interstate?
Post by: Stormbreaker-X on June 13, 2021, 09:53:04 pm
So I thought of this for a while, I intend to study in Victoria for now but I really want to move interstate for some reason. Can someone tell me how my ATAR or study scores would get converted interstate? Also how does SEAS work interstate? Thanks for reading and please help me.

You would have to apply for each state’s version of VTAC and they should be able to convert your Victorian ATAR to the ATAR of whatever state you applied to, as well as have their own special consideration programs (but each uni and state will vary a little). You’ll also have to pay the associated fees to having an account with the other state.

NSW/ ACT: UAC, special consideration program is EAS
Qld: QTAC, I forgot the name of the special consideration program
There are more for the other states but I can’t remember then off the top of my head.

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely look into that.
