Title: Is it possible to still get 40+ in Economics?
Post by: schoolstudent115 on June 26, 2021, 12:01:29 pm
I know that economics is an extremely competitive subject, but I was wondering if it was still possible to get 40+ with my unit 3 scores.
SAC1: 93%, SAC2: 90%, SAC3: 95%.
Unit 3 Score: 93/100 (the A+ threshold for Unit 3 is 90/100 according to VCAA, but I know that the scores can scale up/down).
SAC Difficulty: at least Moderate
Cohort Strength: Very Strong (14 students) (we had about 5/6 people getting 80+% on SAC1, and it was not exactly easy either) — an extremely strong upper end as well.
Ranking: not certain on this, anywhere from 1st to 3rd.

Is 40+ still possible, (I know it is quite early to tell as Unit 4 hasn’t been completed, and I can’t gauge the exam scores)? What sort of ballpark would my score be?

Definitely possible, as long as you are ranked high enough and ace the exams you should be looking at a 40+
-Good luck
