Title: Methods study score prediction
Post by: homeworkisapotato on November 03, 2021, 04:00:42 pm
Hello all! I was wondering if you could please predict my study score for methods?
Cohort size: 120
Cohort strength: selective school, quite strong
GA1: 72%
GA2: 50%
GA3: 50%

Thank you!

I’m not an expert but from what I know it should get you around low 30’s considering that these scores are roughly the mean from each year. However from what former year 12’s have told me the sac scaling should help boost your SS as it makes up a decent percentage (This is going off SCHS, I don’t know about your school but I would assume it would be relatively the same strength as well)

Prediction for me?

SACs: 94%, rank 1 (average cohort)

Exam 1: 33/40 (worst-case scenario, dumb mistakes)

Exam 2: 68/80 (probably doubting myself, but it wasn’t excellent)

Worst case probably a 38-39, but more likely in the 40-42 range (assuming you get a bit higher on both exams in reality)

alright does anyone have an idea on what i could get?
the cohort is probably around 100 people, and i'd say i would probably be top 20-ish in a strong cohort (all sacs average out to around 85%)
Exam 1 - 30/40
Exam 2 - 71-70/80

Mid 40's probably 43-47 from your ranges.  I am assuming good sacs.
