Got Loretto Mandeville Hall formal with my :smitten: coming up in a few weeks. I come from Parkdale ("Where's that?" Exactly.) and would not like to like like a hand-me-down.

Any ideas on decent suits.. at reasonable prices :)?

Mom wants to go to "Casual Guy" LOL.

Appreciate any assistance  :knuppel2:

Do NOT go to Casual Guy. While their suits are cheap (~$100?), they're basically polyester-made ones from China and are of terrible quality. My advice would be to spend a little more (perhaps ~$300 at minimum) to get a half decent black wool suit which you can use in future for almost anything else that requires one. This was my mistake as I did buy a cheap one for my formal, and am now looking to buy another 'proper' suit for anything I might need it for. Save yourself the money and just do it properly the first time around.

My recommendation would be to try here, and I know for a fact there are some decent wool suits there at around the $300 range. Also, avoid those flashy cream or whatever suits some guys get for their school formals; it's not worth it. You'll NEVER wear them again.
