BCom (Melb - Full Fee) v BCom (Monash - CSP)

Ok guys,

I've always wondered what the difference is; Commerce at Melbourne University or Commerce at Monash Clayton.

With my ENTER score I can satisfy Monash(subsidized) and Melbourne(full fee) requirements, however, I'm clueless as to which I should finalize in my preferences =X

Any pointers/recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who show a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, this is still the common denominator that separates those who live their dreams to those who live in regret.

Monash if its subsidized definitely. Monash is actually better in terms of education standards then Melbourne but Melbourne has the reputation. I wouldnt pay full fee its wayyyy to much money and monash is a bloody good uni.

If it's between Full Fee and CSP, definitely go CSP. Unless your uber rich and it doesn't make a difference to you. Also, don't take CSP commerce at melbourne off your preferences. You never know, but your ENTER might be good enough for that as well.

Any of you been to university interviews or something of a similar nature - its going to be 20 minutes of something(clarification maybe? to see if I'm the right kinda guy for the culture etc we'll see :P)

CSP - government subsidized

it isn't even a close contest. you should go monash

That might be the "Guaranteed ENTER." That number applies to full-fee places only. CSP places run on supply and demand, so the value is not known until offers day.

Well I guess I'm in the same boat. However my ENTER is luckily enough to be able to go Commerce CSP @ UoM, or Commerce/Economics @ Monash.
Monash is trying to lure me with a $6000 scholarship, but my heart was always set at Melbourne. Reasons mainly due to the prestige of it.
Anyone got any pros and cons for me of which place to study.  :idiot2:
2008 ENTER = 97.90

BCom @ UoM - I love you Melbourne!
