Okay, so here's my situation.
In my household, we have:
1x Windows 7 Laptop
2x Mac's
3x iPhones
Now I had a TP-Link Modem Router, and all of these devices connected great until recently, when the modem used to just lose internet connection once every fortnight, and it would require pulling out the plug and resetting it to turn the internet back on.
This gott progressively worse, until the internet would cut out up to twice per day, and at that point, I thought I'd buy a new modem, as I thought the old one was going out.
So I bought a Belkin, emailed my ISP for the settings, and that was fine, it set up correctly, and the internet worked fine.
But now...
The Macs are on 24/7, and stay connected on the internet until....
I turn the Windows 7 PC on. As soon as I turn it on from hibernation, the internet cuts out, and it requires it to be restarted to work again. No matter what time of the day, or how many devices are connected, as soon as the PC turns on, bam the internet is gone.
I have tried different settings on my modem, and nothing at all seems to work, and the same thing keeps happening, hence why I'm here...
If anyone has any ideas and/or reasons as to why this continues to happen, it'd be really appreciated, because it's becoming increasingly annoying and I don't know what to do or why its 1 particular computer...
Thanks
