Regarding lectures/practicals, which would make more sense being first in the week? Would it make more sense to put the lecture first and then do the practical later in the week?

Depends.  Some tutes do material covered in last week's lectures so if you're the type of person who wants to get old material out of the way, then having it earlier in the week would be desirable.  Otherwise, whatever floats your boat.

I probably should have specified, but this is a practical involving computer (Business Information Systems), not a tute. With that cleared, would it make any difference to your answer?
