Worlds University Debating Championships 2013 Motions

So as some of you may or may not know, Australia has just won the Worlds University Debating Championships (WUDC) for the fourth year in a row; furthermore, Victoria's very own Monash University has just won it three years in a row (Sydney won it the year before that).  In light of this success, I figure it might be fun for AN to look at some of the motions people had to debate, and to think of what they would themselves say/marvel at the fact that people prepared full, compelling speeches in fifteen minutes in response to some of these motions...
