I just found out I received an early round offer for arts/law but my accommodation offer for UniLodge lapsed... I've put myself on the wait list but I don't know what my chances are. :-S What other options would be viable--- share houses etc.???

Share houses definitely - if you start looking now you'll definitely be able to find something.  Worst comes to worse you can try and find temporary housing and keep looking once you're up there - lots of places will open because people will decide they don't want to go, they want to move out, etc.

That said as well I reckon you'll get accommodation - UniLodge is pretty massive :p
