The topics I had back in the day (I graduated from MHS in 2011, so sat the test in 2007 haha, gosh I'm old) were something like:
Analytical: "Should violent video games be banned in Australia"
Creative: "Describe the day in the life of a bee or a bird"

For analytical topics, you can look at "Issues in the News" in the education section of The Age.

One of the topics (I think it was animal cruelty in zoos?) from The Age was actually the topic on the exam, so it's definitely a good place to look through.
