All the Monash law people I know say they take their bludge subjects in their semester in Italy, so I don't think you'll miss much. Prato is a beautiful place, the Monash apartments are great (I lived there once) and it's an amazing experience to spend X months in another country. The language barrier isn't the end of the world, since most people will speak English over there reasonably well. Alternatively, take an Italian subject when you go :P

The eligibility requirements on the website say 55%!
And yes I really want to do it for the experience, but was just wondering if I'd be at any disadvantage, or if I'd miss out on anything from doing it. But if that's not the case, I'll definitely try out for that!

Haha well you shouldn't have any trouble with a 55 average then, and I guess it's not reasonable to require an average high enough to get honours just for going on exchange.

No you wouldn't be at any disadvantage. I wish I'd gone to Prato myself! I absolutely loved Europe when I went :)
