UNSW revives Nuclear Engineering course

So, it was announced a couple of days ago that UNSW's MEngSc course now has a Nuclear Engineering specialisation which is being revived since 1986. I reckon that this is a good move, considering how much usable Uranium is in Australian territory. What does everyone else think? I'm gonna have a close look at this course when the final details come up on the 20th of August! They've also noted that the course will be run by Nuclear Scientists from ANSTO and is the only Nuclear Engineering course in Australia, so it'll be interesting to see how it is perceived by industry and the wider community.

I think it's great! Looking outside the spectrum of education and academia, nuclear energy is possibly the best energy alternative - despite the negative stigma - now that fossil fuel has begun to dwindle somewhat as a resource. Having more people well educated in these areas bodes well for the world population and for the environment.
