University subjects are harder than subjects at high school. Whether that is detrimental to your results depends on what I said in my last post.

Uni is not like high school where you can do about 20 practice exams and pretty much know what 90% of the exam is gonna be. Some subjects only give you one exam, and the content is far more in depth (for most subjects).

I never noticed that.

But as if anyone in university would do 20 practice exams for any subject anyway. That's 80 practice exams a semester!

I'm happy with 1 or 2 per subject, or none. The learning pace at university is faster, so it's less about "fully consolidate the subject matter" and more about "cover as much as you can".

Oh yeah i meant in comparison to VCE; but thanks. I've heard so many different things from people, how "vce year 12 is the hardest you'll have to work" and "university is so much harder", basically i don't know what to believe >_>

For all the subjects with exams I've done, doing past exams does show you 90% of what's on the real exam. They often follow exactly the same format for questions, and even repeat questions multiple years.
