Thinking of doing Engineering

I'm thinking of doing engineering but i don't even know what you do, it just intrigues me i guess.  If i get in the 80's whilst completing methods and getting 25+ raw will there still be enough GOOD courses available?

Depends on your definition of "good". All unis will teach the same fundamental knowledge because they are required to by Engineers Australia. You can't get into Monash or UoM with an 80 ATAR and no SEAS, but RMIT and Swinburne are still available. They are highly respected engineering schools and I have friends at both that like it there. Transfers after Year 1 are also available if you want to move to Mon/UoM.

If i wanted to go to monash they have a prerequisite of a science subject, who do they thin they are?  Pickiest university of all time!

Oh, you were serious? Get over it, it's the 'real world'. If you want to get into a quote-unquote GOOD Uni, you gotta have the background knowledge to keep up.

Not sure if srs.

Also, could we not derail my thread? This is here for questions pertaining to engineering courses not whether one course's stricter requirements are warranted.
