Anyone done Insurance Law or International Law at Monash ?

Hi,

I'm doing Insurance Law and International Law in 2014, Semester 2.
I was wondering whether anyone on the forum has done those subjects before, and how they found it?
Also the books they'd recommend?

Thanks :)

I have not personally done international law, but two friends have separately told me that they found it very "artsy" and policy-based, and that it was very uncertain to the point that they had trouble doing the exam (which was take-home I think). Neither friend enjoyed the subject at all unfortunately.

Thanks for the response.
That doesn't sound very good : S

I'm going to have Eric Wilson (had him for RAW in first year). According to the handbook, i don't think it's a take home exam.

You should definitely try it out yourself. Remember you have like 4 weeks to discontinue it if you don't enjoy it. :)
