Btw slightly off topic but from experience do you think it's better to have 3 long (9-3) days of UNI or 4 days with only a few hours a day?

EDIT: Keeping in mind that I live across the werribee line; i.e. pretty far

I kinda like the first option (three days), because I can do part-time work or volunteer (gotta beef up dat resume) or whatever, or just take it easy. But it's a subjective thing, of course.

definitely depends on the type of person you are. i prefer the latter too since i just won't study if i'm not on campus often hahaha. anyway, ilr isn't really a content heavy unit so it doesn't really matter which lecturer you get - just mostly about who's going to engage you the most. it's not a big deal if you can't get hyams.

Is anyone choosing the 9-1 4-hour ILR lecture on Wednesday? If anyone's done the 4 hours straight before, how is it? Do you recommend it or not? And any idea who the lecture is/might be?

I considered it, but worked my timetable so I would only have to go Tuesday/Thursday (fingers crossed).

Guys, do the theatres get too full for you to go to any lecture you like? I mean, do they force you to stay in your stream?

Lloyd England is taking it.
The lecturer in your allocated stream marks your exam, so it's highly encouraged/recommended that you go to their stream.

Hyams is really good for ILR. He's quite helpful, has a good sense of humour and makes that subject about as interesting as it can be. I remember I went to one of his lectures once and it was literally full, every seat taken.

As for contract...I had Brenner for both (seems he's no longer taking A, not sure about B), though I've heard good things about Laryea and Sirko Harder. Jennifer Paneth is a good tutor and writes up concise and useful notes.

Hey all,
Hope everyone's happy with their lecturers
Just wondering, is Jennifer Paneth good for Contracts? Got di Marco atm but for some reason she just isn't working for me, and the only other option I've got is paneth. What do you think?

And also, did anyone have Sally Anderson or Anne Day as their Contracts tutor? I have to decide between them both so not sure who to pick!
