Doing science or biomed at monash

Hi,
I just transferred to biomed science this year at monash and I found out that I have to do an extra semester but I would really like to try out for 2016 rather than 2017 entry into monash med. So I'm thinking if I could do summer/winter units at monash, I could avoid doing extra semester. Has anyone done any summer/winter units during biomed degree? Is it hard to find one in order to earn credits towards your degree?

I think this is a question you should really ask the university for than us. If we give you bad advice it could jeprodise your plans in this instance, it always helps to get it in writing (say email) from an official source. I believe in a dual degree, you renounce your ability to do electives. Most summer/winter subjects are arts. To the best of my knowledge, there are no science summer/winter units that aren't research projects.
