RMIT Mid Year transfer

Hey guys I'm thinking about transferring out of Swinburne university to RMIT. I'm currently studying Mechatronics Engineering/Business, which required an atar of around 75. I got 74.8. I want to swap into RMIT Business (economics, finance) and that required around 71. Would I be able transfer? and are uni results critical, as I don't believe I will do too well as I didn't enjoy what i was doing this year.

There's about a 50-50 weighting between your VCE results and your uni results. That being said, in the application process RMIT tends to be very reasonable and you can explain that your uni results were due to disinterest/challenging topics, etc

That's good to hear! Is there a way I can speak to some people to increase my chances? I might go to the info corner today and speak to them.

I don't think there is anyone that you can talk to that would increase your chances, but just write a kickass letter explaining your situation and attach it to your application and she'll be right. Goodluck!
