Analysis of news report - oral presentation

Hi Guys, im in year 10 and we have to do an analysis of a news report by next week. I was wondering what topics would be good to analysis (verbal language analysis basically) and if anyone has any previous news reports they have done, if they could share it.

however i couldnt find a heap of language analysis techniques, could someone please help me out

I did Surveillance as my issue we studied for Language Analysis this year. There would be more recent pieces on this too because Tony Abbott has since made amends with the Indonesian President

Not sure, it would depend on the criteria methinks
