Yep, we're planning on giving people the opportunity to buy after the lecture which saves on shipping cost :)

I am also looking forward to Lauren's lecture. Maybe I'll learn something!

Sounds good, cheers!

*until June of Year 12, I though study scores were out of 100, and I was always so confused when people got so excited about getting 50s... I spent six months thinking I was just surrounded by people who could barely pass any subject.
Moral of the story: ask questions. It's for your own good  :)

I died laughing at this ! ;)

According to Google, it's Lecture Theatre 1 in the Melbourne School of Design building. :)

EDIT: just realised you said where. I'm not good with directions so.. http://maps.unimelb.edu.au/parkville/building/133

Hi,

Don't know about where inside the building the actual theatre is, (since it's a brand new building) but there should be signs around the place, or ATAR Notes people ushering you in :) The building itself is a shiny white and wooden modern thing in the middle of campus; it should stand out amongst all the old architecture. If you're catching a tram up Swanston St. and getting off at the Melb U stop, just walk straight into the campus and you should hit it :)

Follow the crowds of other lost looking students if all else fails.

It's the new architectural building in front of the student admin office :)
The B117 theatre is on a lower floor.

Spent a whole hour trying to find it last week :/

Matt has definitely been a downright pleasure to work with, and I agree that he's a brilliant lecturer. Remember guys, we'll contact you soon about feedback for Spesh, and it'll help us a tonne if you take the time to offer the feedback, and tell anyone you know to do that also! It's useful to me as a coordinator, and I know it will be highly valued by Matt :)

Hello,
I was just wondering, do I need to buy the notes for the lecture?

It is not compulsory, however, they are a great post-lecture study tool and I highly recommend it! I went to Matt's Specialist Maths lecture on Monday, bought the notes, and I can well and truly say that they were well worth my $20. :)

No :). The lecture is constructed in a way that will be beneficial without the notes, otherwise it would be more like a "free" lecture rather than a free lecture. As said ^, consider the notes a really great study tool :)
