I gotta say, I remember when I stuffed up the UMAT (ok fairly stuffed up as in not good enough for Monash MBBS) I was so crushed that I had to do GAMSAT, there's so much negative stigma about the exam, but being honest, with adequate preparation I didn't find the exam THAT bad lol, I expected hell. It was the waiting to start that was the killer!!

Yeah, test-taking wise it's way better than UMAT because you can actually work out the answers much more readily. They should force every high school student to sit the GAMSAT instead ahaha.

Anyway hope you all did well, results will be out in around 2 months!

Thanks haha! I need to focus on MCB now so I don't fail lol, it's been on the backburner :P But yeah, I'll be nervous as hell for results!! I plan to sit UK this year, and 2016 GAMSAT so I can get my best possible score  ;)

Hope it went well for everyone today :)

S1 is usually my worst section, but holy moly, I only had to guess 1 question instead of the usual 10!

I absolutely loved the S2 questions and ended up writing 2.5 pages for the 1st one and then 3.25 pages for the 2nd one.

I was a little disheartened for S3. I've been getting 70% average on the ACER practise papers and have studied since November. I found the first 50-60 questions quite good, but I was fatigued and found the last half harder.

I found the quadrants and shit pretty weird in S1, had to just take some 50-50s in those. S1 is a bit of a roll of the dice with me; when I feel I do bad, I don't do bad, but when I feel really good, I end up backsliding.

Surprisingly found the S2 themes very good to write on and had no mental blanks! But I'm worried if they can read my handwriting lol.

Can agree that the latter half was more difficult than the first half, I was also starting to get fatigued by then. But in general I think it was easier compared to previous tests. Find it weird how ACER repeated some of the purple practise test questions. Did they just get lazy? lol

S1 - I felt the questions were really peculiar, different from last years...

S2 - I liked the topic on imagination but disliked the other topic. I spent too much time planning but ran out of time writing :( Hopefully I can scrape a 60 for this section.

S3 - Yeh, they repeated a fair few questions. I found this section harder than last year though or maybe that was just me....

i think they assumed knowledge more than the uk one. like one of the s3 questions you couldn't answer without knowing some less common unit

S1: I found this harder than previous years (in previous years I have always managed to finish with extra time). My lowest SI score has been 65 so idk wtf cos my friends all found it pretty good. Had to guess a good 10-15 questions at the end and then rush through them to pick the right answers. Know I definitely got question 75 wrong because just as
I was looking through it, time stopped but I saw my option was clearly wrong.

S2: Liked both topics but I have not written an essay for like 2 months. My structure for section A felt shaky at best. For section B I just winged it and made up a personal story/essay (made up a random format on the spot and just wrote my thoughts in a first person biography-ish way). Figured fuk it my structures always blow so let's just hope the content is good.

S3: Felt fairly smooth for me. Got roughly the first 80 questions done with most of them being pretty sure of the answer (maybe 5-10-ish I wasn't certain and just picked the best). Had like 30 mins for the last 30 questions so I guessed everything and then skimmed through them to pick out ones that looked easy. Not sure how I did on that last half because I was rushing.

Wanted to punch the guy making announcements at the end tho. Goodnight sweet concentration.

Oh no, I just realized that I got the name of the novel I referenced in section 2 completely wrong. Its going to look like I made it all up now.
