what can you do with a law degree?

I saw a thread like this ages ago I think, but the link to it is now broken or removed

Just wondering if a Law degree is as flexible as some people say it is?

Is it commonplace/easy to find jobs in other fields like journalism, marketing, business/sales, etc with a Law degree under your belt?

Just thinking about some fall back plans/ alternate career paths, since direct entry into the legal field is so difficult and competitive and may take some years of experience first.
