Zealous, know if the Study guides by AN can be bought before/after lecture?
They can be bought before/after the lecture however the amount they'll have on the day may run out (typically lecture notes run out so best to get in quick)!

Lecture slides will be provided after the lectures! So you'll probably get higher quality material that way.

Oh, awesome! Thanks :)

All lecture notes will be available for the lectures that are taking place.

MY lecture notes won't be available, because I'm not lecturing.

Cash for notes (highly recommended $20).

Does anyone know how much these notes are (per subject)? :)

Hey guys, I've just got a ticket for the specialist lecture, can someone explain what will be covered? Will material from the course be discussed, or will the lecture focus more-so on what is required etc. Sorry for the noob question!  :)

All of unit 3 stuff

Notes are like a textbook. They cover all year round. I presume the lecture slides will only be a brief (not as through as the notes) of what we will study in Unit 3

Since there are new study designs for many subjects, are the notes applicable for the new study designs? Eg. specialist, bio, etc.

I believe they are "revamped". AN wouldn't sell us old notes.

The content in the topics of the curriculum hasn't actually changed. Example: now in vectors, we are still going to learn the same stuff as the previous years did, however, it might be in more depth, or the VCAA might decides that VCE students may need more time to learn such a thing. Now, if we decide to find AB, it is still going to be -OA + OB, not anything like -OB + OA, right?

So, it doesn't exactly matter, if the notes are old, because most it will still be revelant, for the new study design (there is no such thing as "old notes" (just my opinion))  :)

i meant old study design notes ;D

... wut. This ain't true at all, soz bruh LOL. Vectors are being taught this year exactly as they have been in previous years, nothing more in depth, nothing less in depth. The study design changes are literally the case of things being added or removed from the study design.

And don't worry - you won't be getting sold any set of notes if they aren't 100% relevant to the study design!! In particular for the maths subjects, since they have study design changes relevant to this year, you'll be getting lecture notes that have been modified to suit the changes in content.
