About 17 past papers (i use a lot of paper for my answers so geometrically quite big  ;D ;D)

I think revisiting those problems would serve you well!! ;D perhaps you could do a little of both! :)

What does "really need" mean?

Also your internal overall assessment mark means nothing in the long run. All that matters is your mark differences with people above you, and your rank. Although your performance in the trials, plus some improvement, may be indicative of what raw final exam mark you'll get.

Consider using the raw marks database for the externals

Fact is, if you worked (and still work) hard enough to get it, then you will. Otherwise, you won't. Forget about what's in the past and focus on the upcoming task at hand.

If you got that from the raw marks database then yes. For that year, at least.

Hey Guys, I got two questions.
On the day, what should we do before the exam. As it starts at 2pm, there's still a lot of time to do last minute revision but I've read that you don't want to stress yourself out by doing another past paper. I was thinking of just teasing my brain with some Q15 and Q16.
Also what areas do you recommend studying that most people lose marks in but are actually easy to gain marks if you revised on it.

If you're gonna tease your brain in the morning, just think about how to do them and then look at the answers. You might pick up something tiny at the last minute, but that's usually the most you can get with very last minute studying.

Except for maybe one or two really interesting ones that you can't help yourself to avoiding.

Weakness points:
- Geometry
- Derivative/Antiderivative curve sketching
- Not realising that an equation is a quadratic, or when to use the discriminant
- Interpreting motion graphs
- Forgetting restrictions on domains or thetas
