You also don't have to be at RMIT to want to know about it - particularly looking at the current year 12s! ;)

Hi, I was wondering how seas can affect my preferences at RMIT in terms of my Atar.  Also, with clearly in scores, how far below clearly in do you usually go up to before not accepting into that course

From my understanding, SEAS works the same way for all universities, i.e. reducing the ATAR 'clearly in mark' by a bit, I think the empirical data on it is found somewhere on the VTAC website. However it really depends on what you chose and how many. Although if you applied for SNAP, then you would only need to score above 50 to get in  :)

Hi There,

SEAS can give you extra consideration when applying for programs at RMIT. Although there is no set amount of points it boosts your ATAR, it will add additional weight to your application and you will be favored compared to other applicants who do not have a SEAS application and similar scores.
It is important to note that you must still meet the pre-requisite study scores for that program.

All the best with your application!

Hi All,

I am interested in doing Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology at RMIT. Even though my ATAR is not what I expected, I still wanna know about this course. Like want you do and is it interesting. Also is it hard to find jobs in the field after you finish the degree. I am actually confused if I should put this course as my first preference or Bachelor of Psych Honours as my first. Need some help!!

Thank you in advance

Hi, I'm currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Victoria University and have rescently applied to enroll into the same course at RMIT for mid year. My results for year 12 where rubbish, I got an atar  of 40, but currently at uni I have been getting HDs and Ds for my units. Will my year 12 results effect if I get in or not? And what results should I be getting at uni?

I also don't meet the year 12 prequites for RMIT.

Thank you for your time.

Hello,

I am considering doing the bachelor of telecommunications and the bachelor of physics. Only problem is I do not have the math methods prequisite. I have no problem doing a 4 week course or something to satsify the prequisite but am struggling to find one such course offered by RMIT. Is there anyway I can apply for entry in 2019 straight out of VCE? I apply for the SNAP program if that is of any help.

Thanks.

Hi,
I am looking at RMIT's applied science (psychology) course and the prerequisites state that I need a 20 in Mathematics, Geography or Science. I was just wondering if psychology falls under science as a prerequisite.

Hey there! Based on my search of the prerequisites for that course, it states any science. I would include psychology under this context. :)
Hope this helps! :D

Hey there! :)
How easy is it to transfer between Engineering degrees at RMIT? Because the main thing that is leaning me towards Monash instead of RMIT is the common first year, and I really don't know which branch I want to follow.
Thanks!

What can one even apply for with an ATAR less than 40 at RMIT that involves I.T, must i take on a TAFE course first?
There's still actually a fair bit you can study. I found this Diploma of Info Tech Networking, which can lead you to an Associate Degree of Info Tech and the Bachelor of Info Tech or Bachelor of Info Tech (Computing Studies) after that.

That was just with 2 minutes of research - there's likely a lot more than that that you can still study. You can also ask during the Change of Preference events, which you can see here. Good luck!
