Have you listened to Serial?
No, but it has been recommended to me. I think it's probably the one I'll listen to next. What are your thoughts?

What are your thoughts?

Ideas and/or opinions produced by thinking, or which occur suddenly in my mind.

EDIT: In all seriousness, yeah, do it.

About to make a podcast for my assignment- what's typically a good podcast format/genre/tone for those wanting to explore very personal and intimate stories and are there any existing podcasts that are similar to what I've mentioned ? (just as a reference for me)
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

Please note that I am no longer active on the forums.
If you need any assistance, please message an admin or a natmod instead.

Unsure if it's the right thing you're looking for but David Tennant has a podcast where he interviews a person and talks about their life and career with them and I think he does it really well. It's called "David Tennant does a podcast with"

I love listening to podcasts. I find it a particularly good way to spend time while im being transported by various means.
I listen to a mix of comedy and science.
For science I am a big listener to the podcasts done by microbe.tv
my 3 favourite from them is:
 - Immune
 - This week in Microbiology
 - This week in Virology

Pretty much all these podcasts consist of researchers in the field talking about recent research, but doing so in a reasonably accessible way. There is certainly a lot that goes over my head, but enough stuff that I understand to peak my curiosity. I think its also great if you were wondering what a career in science is like - they seem to give a pretty good (unglorified) view of the work of a scientist - that is many tedious tasks hehe.

for comedy podcasts I go for the McElroy's podcasts. I just find those three brothers very funny.
I primarily listen to the:
 - adventure zone (a dnd podcast, but not like a serious one) I just keep re-listening to balance arch - not amnesty so much (for those who know it)
 - MBMBAM (a funny advice show)
 - Sawbones (a funny medical podcast)
Qualifications
 > Have counted to 227
 > Can draw really good spiders
 > 2 Poet points
 > 6.5 insanipi points
 > 1 Bri MT point

I've mentioned it heaps of times in this thread and others, but it sounds like you might enjoy This Podcast Will Kill You! Super interesting science/medicine podcast about diseases and stuff.

Recently started listening to Do Go On. Would recommend!

Have been absolutely smashing the podcast "Reply All". I particularly enjoy the "Super Tech Support" episodes, where they try to solve problems about the internet. It's genuinely fascinating and entertaining.

To start, I really recommend these episodes (same story, two parts):

#102 Long Distance
#103 Long Distance, Part II

I started listening to this Harry Potter podcast Witch Please which is great! The hosts are so lovely and funny and their analysis of the series is amazing. I can't see centaurs the same and I don't like the movies anymore, but I love the books so much more!
