Science and Law Degrees and Careers

The 2 areas of study that really interest me are law and science
However I worry about the intense and stressful nature of law degrees, as well as the apparent high unemployment and drop out rates
Science, while highly interesting to me, also worries me as I'm not really sure on what career options will be open to me in the future. All I hear about is "research", but that seems temporary - as in I wont have a steady stable job in the future
Any advice would be much appreciated thanks!
