Hey guys, so I got my gamsat score last night and have been depressed since.
I got a 55 overall with the sections being 59, 60, 49.
Almost all the uni's require a minimum of 50 in every section.
So do you think my chances of getting an interview in any uni, gone?
Thanks

Hello!

An overall score of 55 is really good, you have to remember its a very hard test and the people you're competing against are some of the best of the best. Think you should be fine even though the unis have "required" scores as you go well above 50 in the other sections I don't think you should stress too much if the required is 50. What were you planning on applying for?

Hey thanks for the reply!
My first choice is dentistry but I would be happy to apply for optometry as well.
The other downside is that my gpa is not that great either so I’m trying my absolute best to increase it this year (my last year).

Honestly, the GAMSAT score is nothing better than a random number generator at times -- and not a measure of your self-worth. Look after yourself, most importantly.

Just wanted to endorse this point. I'm very sorry to hear you're not happy with your results, but you may as well give things a crack and see how you go. GAMSAT is not a good indicator of your talent, so don't take it as a personal reflection as above.
