ANU Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences

Hi there!

Is anyone on the forum doing a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences at ANU and willing to share their experience? I’m currently mostly leaning towards a Major in Mathematics and Statistics at Melbourne, but I’ve heard good things about the ANU Maths program. Of course it’s also a lot easier staying in Melbourne than accomodation, travel, finances etc at ANU ... :)

Cheers
2020 - Bachelor of Science, The University of Melbourne

2019: UMEP Mathematics Extension [First Class Honours (H1)], English [44], Specialist [42 ~ 52], Algorithmics (HESS)
ATAR: 99.50
2018: Physics [46 ~ 48], Methods [41 ~ 46]

From past students on other forums I have heard a lot of bad things about ANU. I don't go there so I can't vouch but I encourage you to seek out opinions on other forums because so far I haven't found that many good ones...

Hmm, that certainly jars with what I’ve heard about the program (admittedly not enough though). Would you mind pointing me to the other forum you’re referring to?
