English: Conversations about concepts in texts

Hi I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my English assignment. My final is due next week. The two texts this is about is the film Lion and the novel Swallow the Air. We are writing for The Conversation that creates a perspective and positions the reader about the representation of the concept 'Quest for Cultural Identity' in both texts. My article is shaped around the perspective that our childhood is essential in shaping our cultural identity. (The last body paragraph is incomplete but the rest is done). I am also over the word limit so any areas you think I can reduce will be very helpful. Thanks :)

Also, I forgot to mention these two tips in my comments, but I would recommend that you:

- have a foot note in your article such as the one I used for mine (Metro Magazine | Vol. 203 | The Feminist Issue | Page 1)
- and also, have a byline in your introduction. For example, [Insert your name] investigates the...[insert your topic focus here]
