📚 Study Checklist - A place for productivity 📚

Welcome to the Study Checklist Thread!

Here, we (literally anyone) will post our study (or anything else) checklists and aim to complete them everyday. To boost motivation those who complete their study checklists will get points per task they complete. Sounds simple enough, right?

Is there a start and finish time?
Is there a start and finish time?
There isn’t a definite starting and finishing time in terms of revision, but you must have all your work completed by midnight the same day. To give yourself max study time you should post your checklist/to do list in the morning. Anything after this will not be credited as points but you may still see this as a self-achievement.

How Does the Point System Work?
How does the point system work
You will be awarded one point for each task you complete. Two points if the task was quite long and deserves extra points.

Is there prizes?
Is there prizes?
ummm............bragging rights?

How Much do i have to do?
how much do i have to do?
You can choose the days when you want to revise. Remember, quality not quantity!
No pressure!

What if i dont get it done?
what if i dont get everything done?
If you do not complete a task, don't worry! No points will be deducted. Perhaps, move to the task to the next day and complete it then? Try not to edit tasks out of your original post because you haven't completed them. This is supposed to be a honest way of tracking your progress!

I Still don't understand how does this work?
I Still don't understand how does this work?
This is an example of a check list
- Annotate chapter 1 of my prescribed text
- Finish Exercise 9J
- complete Biology worksheet

if you only get the first 2 done you get 2 points, if you get all done you get 3 points. The aim is to set an amount of tasks you think you can get done in the day or study sessions :)

Study Sessions!
Join in whenever you can, but remember, when we are having sessions, try not to go on AN!

16:00pm - Session starts
16:45pm - Session ends

16:45 - 17:00pm - Break

You can either set tasks in the morning or the day before when you let us know what tasks you completed!
ie.

Todays to do list is ...
OR
I finished these 4 tasks today! Tomorrows to do list is....

Hopefully this makes sense now :)

Yes, it makes much more sense now :) And if we forget to check in one day, for instance?
Also, do you take care of figuring the no. of points, etc.?

Sounds great! I'm definitely in.

I got one question though, do we edit our posts to tick off the check lists as we finish? Or do we just create a new post?

Its probably easiest to keep track of if you make a new post, but if you plan on just editing LMK so i know thats how you want to do it and i'll check your 'old' posts when I tally scores each day
