Hi,

Is the integration of secx.tanx part of the advanced maths course or not?
Would some manipulation be required to use one the formulas on the reference sheet?

THANK YOU

If you know it, that's great! Otherwise it won't be tested unless you're given a previous part where you differentiate sec. I'm a bit worried because you mention manipulation of standard integrals and formulas - please don't do this unless you've been explicitly taught tried and tested methods, and make sure you know which formulas are for what (and which don't interfere with each other). Dangerous thing to play around, especially this close to the HSC - be very careful :)

Good luck!
