Will restricted travel from overseas to Australia make getting into Melbourne Uni easier since there will be less international students to compete with?

I think so. I guess it is lucky you this year, next year it might not be the same for me.

I don't believe this will be the case as domestic students aren't competing with international students. There is a set number of Commonwealth Supported Places, which is dependent upon how much funding the government is willing to contribute. I don't believe that the government has increased the funding, so I don't believe there will be an increase in CSP's.
