is there a way i can do both prelim and hsc and year 12. Because i really want to do extension 1 or 2  maths in year 12 but i'm doing advanced math in year 11 and I'm regretting my decision.

Heyy, if you are already in year 11 (going into year 12 next term) you, unfortunately, can't pick up extension math as it's too late. If you're still in year 10 and doing subject selection, you should be able to add math ext 1
