Work experience ideas?

Year 10 student in need of work experience ideas!
I want to do something in the field of law, politics, or even journalism. I know the County Courts closed their applications and the Magistrates' Court said they are unclear of their programs. Fitzroy Legal Service and my local MPs office won't provide work experience and I haven't received a response from my local council.
I can still go to a law firm but I was hoping to hear from the experiences of past year 10 students to get some ideas of places I can do work experience at.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi!
I'm in year 11, and my year 10 work experience did get cancelled due to the pandemic, I might not be much of a help.

But I would definitely say the local council and other nearby councils to your area, I remember applying for architectural work experience for my local council and they were really helpful and through their descriptions of the overall time it sounded fun - wish I could have actually done it though.

YMCA has some cool opportunities for parliament

this one looked cool

I would say if you are able to go to the city, there are opportunities there.

Really sorry in advance I know I wasn't much of a help, but hope you find work experience in your field of interest

You got this! :)
