I am, I'm doing Bcomm/Bsci at Monash next year hoping to major in finance and pure maths :)

I will be doing science at Monash next year hoping (at this point) to double-major in Applied and Pure Mathematics and minor in Atmospheric Science.

This is similar to what I'm doing as my breadth allows me to do all finance subjects.

Anyone who is doing science at UoM and doesn't know whether to major in pure maths or physics. Do a mathematical physics major. You can do a partial major in physics and pure/applied maths so after your BSc degree you can do a MSc(Maths) or MSc(Physics).

Yeah but mathematical physics is all Differential Geometry and Lie Theory and stuff. Really boring :(

lol, I don't like Physics mixed with Maths, I rather Pure Maths on it's own :)

I'm doing science/engineering. Will definately maths major, possibly a double major, depends on how I feel on chem later
