Methods study score

I usually don't make these kinds of threads, actually I'm usually the one answering them, but I was wondering about my methods study score.

I've done a heap of practise exams and I've been geting all mid/high-A-level results for exam one and mid-B+-level results for exam two. I'm going to practise some more extended response over the next few weeks (by the way, does anyone have any advice for extended response other than "practise, practise, practise"?) but I'm not sure how much better I'll get in this relatively short space in time.

The thing is though, I have yet to do the 2006 exam 2 (we're going to do it in class next week), so my results for all exam twos have been with extended response only, as opposed to extended response and multiple choice as will be on the real exam. Hence, I'm thinking that with my relative eptitude for multiple-choice, I might be able to work up to an A for exam 2, or a high B+ at the very least.

My ranking is very good, I'd be in the top two or three in my class at least. So, what will my study score be?

Exam 2's:

My best advice would be to approach the question from a logical mindset. Put away the equations, put away the formulae and graphs and everything else. Ask yourself "what do I need to find?"

Once you know what you need to find, it's a matter of then finding the right equation to give it to you. Exam 2 is about problem solving, you've got to approach the questions logically.

As for your study score, nobody knows. You've got to do your best on the exam and hope that everyone else does shit, but if I could hazard a guess I'd say around 36 from what you've told us.

36-37 raw is my guess.

For exam 2, I don't know if this helps, but draw graphs of all important equations in the questions.

Graphs are useless unless you know what you're looking for. Interpret the question first, and *then* graph it. :P But what do I know? You beat me :(

Not really, plus, beating you was down to luck rather than skill. Although I never did this, I think if you draw the graphs you can use them to interpret what the question is asking.

Its different for everyone of interpreting questions. But I agree with Ahmad, I tend to draw a lil sketch to understand what the question is about!

what the hell thats an awesome study score...methods is too unpredictable i think so even though we might be the best from school its not enough to get the score u wanted..loL so many of my friends estimate methods scores of 45-47, but it takes a bit of luck to go that far i reckn.

I too dropped three marks. I think my study score is a precise reflection of my accuracy. So if methods tests accuracy, then it has achieved its purpose.  :)
