On average, how many units are completed per semester in 1st year?

I've received an offer from RMIT and completing my enrolment, on average how many units are completed per semester during 1st year? I'm thinking 4 is the norm??

i think most unis set 4 as the maximum (unless u can prove to them y u should do more)
