UoM Dean's Honours List

I got on it! It means I'm in the top 3% of students in Engineering for 2007.

Is this award highly reputable? That is, will it help me in finding jobs (especially Engineering related?)

nice work man!!
my brother got on that list (at monash uni).
i think it did help him get a vacation scholarship with CSIRO (hes in his 4th year tho) doing aerosp/sci

No, they're two different matters, haha. It just means that I'm in the top 3% of my cohort.

Thanks guys, it was unexpected - I wasn't even sure if I was eligible since I was in a double degree. It was very unexpected when my mum didn't read the letter properly and told me I was in the top 3 (absolute figure).

Wow, that's very impressive! I'm guessing there are around 400-500 students who did 1st year engineering last year, so you'd be in the top 15 :O
