Likelihood of getting lower preferences?

My third preference, had an ENTER clearly in last year of 70.05. If I got say, an ENTER of 90, is there a fair chance I'd be offered a place in this course?

It's possible, would depend on how other applicants went as well...

are u saying that your enter wont be high enough for your first 2 preferences?

im in the same position as you,

1st preference enter: 95
2nd preference enter: ~90
3rd preference enter: 75

my careers councilor said that even if you have a course last preference they cant discriminate and say no to you just because it was last, im pretty sure (if your preferences are ranked enter wise) you will get offered the course, which your enter permits, as a first preference just as it would be like having that course as your number one preference... that probably made no sense what so ever  :P

Well perhaps, my first preference I'm not too keen on anymore - biomedical science at monash clayton, probably an ENTER that will be 92 or something, which I doubt I'll get. My second preference I'm not keen on at all really, the same course at deakin, which I might get (ENTER around 80)... however my third course, science at mon. gippsland (ENTER 70.05) (I live in the gippsland area - rural area) I would much rather do than the first two.

I'm not too sure on how the 'offers' work and I'm wondering if I still have a chance of getting the third course.

You get a chance to change your preferences when you get your study scores, i believe.

Yes you can change your preferences, from like a few days before you get your results til the 25th i think... check vtac for the correct dates. :)

Very late applications: 16 November (5pm) - 14 December (5pm)

All applicants: $100.00 (inc. GST) payable either by POSTbillpay online using your credit card (at the time of application) or by invoice.

Found it: It opens for all applicants on the 3rd of December and closes on the 24th ...

no lol, thats if you dont have a myinfo account yet

anyone with a myinfo account can change their preferences for a week or so around the time we get our ENTER results
