qns regarding aerospace

Aerospace engineering has recently caught my attention and i seem to have a genuine intrest in that course. But i have a few questions that i hope you guys can help me with. I have read some of the threads regarding aerospace engineering but i have my own questions so i thought i should make my own :)

After you finish the degree, as enwiabe said in another thread 'you are an accredited engineer and aerospace engineer' - does this mean that you get a bachelor degree in both of those courses ie you have 2 degrees??
When you have the experience would you be able to work with the AAF (australian air force)??
Does this degree allow you to work in the automobile field, in designing cars and stuff (OR is this a different engineering degree)??

I will probs have more questions when i discover new things but that's it for now.
Thanks :D

From what I've read from other forums, you can work with the RAAF and I think if you finish your degree and get a bit of experience, you're promoted straight to lieutenant. I'm pretty sure you're also qualified as a mechanical engineer and you can work with F1 cars :3.

You only get a bachelor of aerospace engineering degree, but you might be able to work as a mechanical eng or aeronautical eng.

Correct me if I'm wrong :D

My friend's dad's an aerospace engineer. He works in England for Airbus, in charge of the people who fix broken planes and other structural/physical problems.
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.

Well there's a lot of job here in Australia for aerospace engineers. The only problem is the aerospace field as mentioned in another thread, is very competitive. But there's heaps of opportunity from what I've heard for aeor eng's.

I'm pretty sure this discussion will help you

My brother's friend is an aerospace engineer and he's working at Europe right now :3

May I ask which university you want to go to?

EDIT: forgot to mention that you don't only work on planes but also rockets YEAH!

I'd ask enwiabe cuz he's currently studying aero eng at monash

Yeah you can go NASA but you'd probably need heaps of experience and a masters degree. I'm planning on going Monash aswell. Just hope I get the 93.15 ATAR XD

The bio teacher in my school said she had a friend doing aero eng. and she said he declined a scholarship from Monash o.O' and went to RMIT instead o.o I'm not sure what the difference is but I think monash is better
