Can we get quote tags fixed for the entire forum, or some sort of announcement for it? Tell everyone to goto Profile, and set "Allow HTML" to No.

The key to getting the quote tags to work is to tick "Disable HTML in this post." If you goto Profile and set "Allow HTML" to No, this box should always be ticked when you make a message by default, which gets your BBCode to work :)

UPDATE `phpbb_users` SET `user_allowhtml` = '0'

will disable HTML in every user's profile in one quick swoop.
