Bronwyn Naylor is the cheif examiner. So I would either attend her or Gray's lecture.
And do you have any advice for contract and crim?
Apparently, they stop using textbooks for contract from this term.

Sorry to go off topic but I've heard some of the exams or assessments are open book or something?

Wut? Then what are they using if not textbooks? o.O do you mean that exams are not open-book, because they've been like that for about 2 or 3 years

Most law exams are open-book but they've started to introduce closed-book exams now e.g. contract law, property law

Kwame's Contract A notes attached. These are from 2008 so some of the law might have changed by now (god I'm so old)

Sorry for reviving this thread. Didn't make sense to make a new one.

Does anyone have the reading guide for Torts B and Crim B?
Not long before uni starts now, and I wanted to get the first couple of weeks of reading finished before then.

Thanks!

Ah not sure when the Monash outline covers it, but public law is a first year subject at la trobe which covers the basic principles like rule of law, separation of powers, judicial review, etc. It's a lead in for administrative and constitutional law.

That's really cool. I wish Monash had something like that, maybe it would have made consti/admin less of a pain in the ass

RE "Nicki Mollard is the best crim lecturer in the faculty however I think this year was her first year teaching torts and apparently she wasn't too amazing at it. she's a nice person though."

Thanks for the great review of my Crim law teaching.  I have now been teaching Torts for 4 years in the Undergrad and JD programs.  I hope I've graduated from 'not too amazing" to "amazing enough".

I also teach evidence and civil procedure these days.

 :)
