Hey
Anyone do medical radiations- medical imaging?
Just wanted to know what the level of maths involved in the course is comparable to, doing methods at the moment but my SACS are not great.

Thanks

well, even though radiation experts and people within the medical imaging area hide behind some sort of lead wall when using high frequency equipment such as x-rays, they are still exposed to some particles that float in the air, and if accumulate that together over a period of 15-20 years and you could have major health problems.

my boyfriend does this course, he's in the nuclear medicine stream. from what I've seen of his work it's mostly quite simple calculations ... though you do statistics too ... which is like further maths apparently (I don't know I didn't do further)
